Lately!

Between keeping up with the house, my family, my part-time job and my starting cake business, BOY I've been busy. It's been an adventure! But I feel I'm doing so many things, that I'm not giving my best to all of them. So it's time to evaluate my priorities and make decisions. Yes, I decided to drop the part-time job. It's not easy because as a Mom I feel the job somehow helps me keep my sanity. I see and interact with different people and I forget about home for a little while. But the job is also getting in the way of my plans of growing my business, so What to do? Yeap! drop the job. For me is just a part-time job, but for other Moms is dropping your full-time corporate job, and it's not easy. But it's mine and it's growing like another child that needs my attention and how can I ignore it? I'm kind of nervous, but at the same time I'm confident that having more time will help me offer a better product. So here are some samples of cakes I've done, working crazy hours and in between one thing and the other!

Turtle Cake

Everytime we bake a new cake we learn a lesson, and boy did we learn a big lesson with this one.  At the end it was all worth it. Don't you think?
